Amazingly with our schedule, we were able to go to cabin for a SECOND time in 2008.  It was a bit cooler this time, but the leaves were gorgeous.  It’s hard to remember why we continue to live in a place as cold as MN in January, but these pictures help.  I cannot wait to see something other than white on the ground.

Like I mentioned in my previous cabin post, I love waking up to see the lake.  And this is what I saw.

In my previous cabin post, I also mention the two dogs my in laws have.  Meet Willow, their third dog.

My mom even came with, and brought her new puppy dog, Foxy.  Four dogs at the cabin that weekend!

Can you see why this is my favorite place?  It’s just so beautiful.  More pictures to come this coming summer I hope!!

This is one of my favorite places in the world.  We always have great food, and I love waking up and being able to see the lake.  And we have a spot on the lake that we love to swim at.  Just take the pontoon out, go for a spin of the lake, and take a pit stop at the island.

And my in laws have some of the smartest dogs.  They are Cavalier King Charles. This is Ivy.  The other one, with black on him is Timber.

I tried to get some practice sessions done this summer.  I don’t love these, but I love how blue the sky is in them.  The girl is Adeline, my neice.  She had lots of energy this day, that’s for sure.

I haven’t blogged about her in awhile, but Maebree has grown a bit since July.  Before I show you some more recent pictures, here are a few from August.  She’s a fiesty little girl, but she has grown into our family just fine.

I know I’ve been missing in action for a few months, but life became busier, and then when I sat down again to blog, I realized I was unhappy with the old blog design.

So here it is.  My new blog design.

I know I could have spent some money, and had someone else do the designing for me, but crazy enough as it sounds, but I love to code.  Of course I have had my frustrated moments in the past few weeks, but I’m to a point where I think it’s at least better than it was before.  I still have some work to do, obviously, but my goal for now is just to keep up with blogging more often.

I wanted to give a big thanks to a few sites that helped me out while learning how to customize wordpress code.  I still have a lot to learn, and will probably be visiting these sites even more in the future.
