Around here things have been busy.

Around here Beau has been helping me get the nursery ready and moving my office back downstairs.

Around here we’ve been taking a lot of walks, enjoying the last couple of weeks of summer warmth.

Around here we’ve both been working a lot of morning shifts, and trying to accomplish as much as we can in the evenings, if we aren’t scheduled for doubles…

Around here I’ve been anticipating the changing of the leaves. It’s been extremely dry for the first half of September, and one last thunderstorm doesn’t seem likely…

Around Pacey has been enjoying a new crib (or one large laundry basket as some may see it as).

Around here my camera has been getting a workout, along with my computer, as I take and edit way too many photos.  I think my computer starts to hate me after about 5 hours of editing. 

Around here a revamp of the blog and website have been accomplished, as you may have noticed.

Around here I have been getting a little giddy inside about the ideas for fall decorating I have floating around in my head.  I figure sometime before October I might have an hour or so free available for decorating.  Also, this cute Halloween album has got my head spinning for future ideas.

Around here my belly is slowly getting larger. (Picture above was from last week when baby was estimated to the be the size of an apple)  And the next ultrasound has been scheduled for October 6th.

I’m a person that gets hooked on something and can’t do anything but focus on that one thing. I obsess.  Like play a song over and over and over… and over a few more times. And it’s sort of fun to document your likes, month by month.  So here’s my list for September.

WEAR: I have always been a fan of sweatpants, but lately, they’ve become more like my best friends.  Simply because they fit my growing baby belly!

EAT: I’m not a big eater.  I rarely eat huge meals, and I suck at cooking so I usually eat a lot of easy, quick meals anyways.  But since I’ve been pregnant, making food or even finding food I want to eat has been harder.  So many people talk about eating so much, and I do find myself sometimes hungrier than I would expect.  But for me, I basically have to remind myself to eat for each meal.  One thing that has sounded great though?  Sour Patch Kids.  No nutritional value at all, but they sure are yummy!!

LISTEN: Imogen Heap released her new album just a few weeks ago.  I love it already.  Her music has such a unique sound and it’s very relaxing.  Yet at the same time, it’s somewhat upbeat!  Give her a try.

WATCH: It’s fall, and you know what that means? New TV shows!  Well so far not many have started, but one of my favorite things about this time of year is the anticipation of all these new tv shows.  (By the way, I’m particularly excited for Flash Forward)  Sure I know I’ll never have time to watch them all, or that many of them will be failures anyways.  But it’s such an feeling of excitement to wait for all the new, and returning, tv shows to start up for the season.  Soon it will be all snowy and cold outside here in MN and I will need something to keep me busy when it’s dark and I’m trapped inside.

DO:  I love making lists.  To do lists, idea lists, etc.  And each night lately, before bed, I have still had a ton of ideas racing through my head, so I’ve been writing them down just before I sleep to help my brain rest.  It’s helped.  But mostly, I just love lists :)

Labor Day weekend, I had the wonderful opportunity to photography the wedding of Chantelle and Ben.  Cute black dresses for the bridesmaids, a funny group of groomsmen, the cutest little flower girls.  And of course an outstanding bride and groom!  It was simply beautiful.  Just check out Chantelle’s wedding dress.  Lovely.

Spent some time with the family last week one evening.  Feels like with our busy schedules that we never have time to see family, but I guess we are pretty lucky to have so many family members living so close to us.  Makes getting together, even just for the evening, pretty easy actually.

Finally tested out our new above ground fire pit we got for Christmas ( I know… it’s September now…).  Had a good time having the family all over for pizza and a bonfire.  And we all got to enjoy quiet little Zachary too. :)

And this coming weekend, I am shooting a wedding! Watch for pictures next week. I hope to get them up and edited very quickly.
