I met Ron nearly three years ago. He’s one of my co-workers at the “day” job. I remember meeting his wife, Mary and son, Dylan that following Winter when they came to visit Ron at work one evening. I remember that little boy (only about 1.5 years old then) and how much it made me want my own little boy. Three years later, I do now have my own little boy and Mary and Ron have added a little girl to their family, Danielle! She’s over 3 months old now. Remember Danielle as a newborn? Well, seeing their sweet girl again is of course making me want my own! :) Maybe someday. Ephram keeps me occupied fairly well these days.

Dylan was not all that into taking pictures this day. You know, a big four year old has places to go, things to see! So we tried to keep it short. And there was definitely a few tickles to get some smiles out of that little boy.

Mary and Ron, your little ones are adorable and I’m so glad I’ve gotten to watch your family grow!

It’s so fun to see families grow. Just over a year ago I took this family’s photos, as a family of three. At the time, little Zachary wasn’t even born! If you’d like to look back, here are their family pictures from last year. It was so great to be able to photograph them again, now as a family of 4!  The little girl, Shania is now 3 years old and Zachary is turning 1!

Working on: A photoshoot of very cute family, also known as my sister in law, brother in law, and adorable niece and nephew! (see picture below)

Listening to: Rockabye Baby Lullaby Renditions of Coldplay. It really calmed Ephram down Saturday night after a family get together in which he decided there was too much going on and a nap was unnecessary.

Loving: The recent rainy weather. Though I enjoy seeing the sun as well.

My cute little nephew! Adorable x100, for sure. Can’t wait for my little one (in my belly) to come out and play with his cousin!

Just had to share a few family photos from a couple weeks ago, when I was visiting my brother and sister in law. I’m so excited for my little baby E to meet his cousin, Hayden. He’s such a cutie. And honestly, if my little boy ends up smiling and making me laugh as much as Hayden does, I will have a very sore face.

A few weeks ago, my uncle asked me if I would take some photos of his family.  My answer? Absolutely!  And it was a wonderful day.  Seems like every post I mention the colors, but seriously, these colors couldn’t be any better and I’m going to continue to say it until next fall. 

I love having an excuse to photograph beautiful people in beautiful fall colors on a beautiful day!

I’ve said it before, but I seriously, am hopelessly, in love, with Fall.  We’ve had a pretty rainy October here in MN, and I’ve been very lucky to have photoshoots on nice days.  But this past Saturday was gorgeous!  I’ve just got one pic to share with you right now; my fav from a session with my aunt, uncle and cousin.

I’m so sad the Fall colors are starting to fade.  I really think this may be my favorite time of the year.  The bright yellows, oranges, reds… love them.  And this family really knew how to make those make those colors stand out.

You may recongnize this family from a wedding a few weeks back, Kate’s brother and sister in law.  I was so glad when they contacted me about doing a family/engagement session bc their daughter, Sonya is one of the cutest 7 month olds I’ve ever met.  So adorable.

Just a little obsessed with the leaves, but it was sooo cute!

And how cute are her parents? She’s a lucky little girl.

It was a little cold and there were a few tears from the little one, but you wouldn’t guess it by the smiles here!

Then we focused on some pictures for Kate and Jesse’s engagement.
