Trying out new creative endeavors, such as weavings, just for fun. I didn't believe it before I started but it truly is addicting. Helping Beau carry load upon load of gravel and dirt into the backyard to expand his gardens. I fear in a few years we won't have any grass left, but I know he'll be happy and that's all that matters.
Anticipating my first Stitchfix coming next week! Shopping just isn't my strong suit and my closet shows it.
Playing with this marble toy and possibly enjoying it more than my kiddos even do. I remember having something similar as a kid but rarely playing with it. No idea why.
Gathering ideas for a teaching opportunity in February! More info on that coming soon.
Keeping track of all my to-do's in the weekly version of the Simplified Planner this year and loving it. The daily planner was great but the weekly layout is perfect for me these days.
Learning all the in's and outs of shipping things from home. Visiting the post-office is one of my least favorite things to do, so I bought a scale and am hoping to figure it all out. Are all those shipping options confusing to anyone else?
Celebrating the sighting of cauliflower in our garden! The broccoli must be close as well!
Planning out a few Valentine's Day crafts to decorate the house with. Alwyn is distraught that "Mismas" (Christmas) is over, along with all the decorations, so I'm hoping Valentine's Day decor may excite him. We'll see. The taking down of the Christmas tree is still a nightly discussion before bedtime and we're halfway through January.
Getting outside. After what has felt like months of cold, wet & dark weather we finally had some sunshine yesterday and more is planned for the weekend. I don't think I could ever survive in the Pacific Northwest, contrary to what I thought in my early 20s. I need sunshine!
Happy Friday! Have a great weekend.
