Two of my friends, Shanna, Janet, and I have decided to try to do self portraits each week for a year! I’m so excited, though I barely found time to get it done this week. Maybe next week will be better.

What better time to start than the week of Fourth of July. I wanted to find a cornfield that had corn about knee high, but so many of the cornfields near where I live have way exceeded the saying “knee high by the Fourth of July”.

I meant to have a picture of my face for the first SP, but I forgot the tripod and resorted to setting the camera on the hood of the car. So next week, my plan is to have a face shot.
