It’s been quite awhile since I’ve posted.  Let’s face it, I’m just not a good blogger.  I’d like to get better, but then time gets away from me.  Trying to find the words to fit the pictures has never been something I’m good at, so it takes me awhile.  I’m more into creating the pictures.  Plus, with a new baby here, my free time is precious.

 

 
Most of our close family and friends know already what a crazy 8 weeks we’ve just had, but for those who don’t know, we had our baby on March 2nd.  By March 6th, we were being transferred to the Children’s Hospital and it was found that our little Ephram Charles had a heart defect.  Luckily, it was a fairly simple fix.  He had surgery when he was just 7 days old to fix his heart and we were able to take him home finally, when he was 11 days old.

 

 
Since then, it’s been the typical “getting used to having a baby’ craziness at our house.  And then adding in the challenge of going back to work and making our crazy rotating schedules manageable.  But we love our little guy.   He is the sweetest boy in the whole world (I’m totally not partial!) and is just as healthy as could be.
