Last week we experienced some interesting weather, to say the least. With one of the deepest extratropical low pressure systems on record for the lower 48 states, situated in northern Minnesota, we experienced rain, a little snow, colder temperatures and WIND! And it wasn’t just your average windy day. We had gusts exceeding 60 mph in some parts of the Twin Cities!

Suffice it to say, it wasn’t the best picture taking weather last week. The storm began on Monday and didn’t clear out until Thursday. Luckily, Ally had scheduled her family’s photo session for Friday! It was the best weather we had all week! Still a little chilly, but you can’t get too greedy in Minnesota during the end of October, right? (Remember the Halloween Blizzard of 1991?)

We headed to Hot Sam’s Antiques in Lakeville for this session and it was such a unique location. Definitely check it out sometime if you are one with a love for antiques. This place is a gold mine. And a great place for photos too!

Meet Ally, Eric, and Henry! Henry is a part of the playgroup Ephram attends and Ally is just one of the amazing moms I’ve gotten to know in the past several months. Henry just turned 1 year old last week, making it a perfect time to snap some family photos.
