I love wedding photos as much as the next person. Well actually, I might love them just slightly less. Wedding photos are incredibly special, don’t get me wrong. I adore weddings. But personally, I’d take a photo of a sweet family cuddling in bed together over a photo of a bride and groom dressed up in something they’ll only wear once.

I love the everyday. I love the normal life moments. The ones that happen in between dinner and bedtime, or on Saturday mornings when it’s just you at home with your family. Even if it means setting aside a few hours to make them happen in order to capture them in a few photos.

These are the photos I know these two wee ones will cherish 20 years from now.

Getting the perfect baby face in a photo is tough stuff, let me tell you. you can never be too sure what they’ll do next. I’m in love with the face she gave me in the below photo, but the face just seconds before this one? Oh man. ;)
