When you’re between the ages of about 2 and 12, is there really anything better than playing with your brother or sister in the leaves?

Fall is such a beautiful time in Minnesota. Sadly, all the wind we had last week knocked down so many of those gorgeous, colorful leaves. I’m so glad we captured these photos just in time.

Three things about this session:

1. These photos make me want to be 9 years old again, playing in the backyard with my younger sister. (someone please invent a time machine ASAP!)
2. I love dark blue fingernail polish.
3. These cuties are my niece and nephew, so you better leave a comment below about how sweet they are.
