Project Life 2013 :: Week 40
Welcome to Week 40: Sept 30-Oct 6 This was a super quick week to put together. I know many people do not "scrapbook" because of the time and money commitment, but this layout probably took a total of 30 minutes to put together (split up between two days since I ordered the prints online). You can do it too!
What happened this week? My mom was visiting and Alwyn turned one! (We technically didn't celebrate until the following week though.)
I had quite a few photos this week that I wanted to include because my mom was visiting, so I picked a couple stories to journal and filled most of the layout with photos. A very simple layout.
If you follow me on Instagram, you may remember the photo of me getting my hair cut and highlighted. I was doing this while my mom was sitting in the Chicago airport because her flight was delayed. Once she got here, we spent some time outside in the backyard, we visited Brazos Bend State Park, and spent time just enjoying having Grandma around. Seriously, those boys just love her!
Alwyn also had his one year check up and surprised me with his head size. And Ephram made the cutest drawing and just had to include it because it's so representative of what he's been drawing lately. The caption says exactly what Ephram told me about the drawing, "A mama chicken and a baby chicken (in an egg) and she's feeding him bacon." The best.
Project Life is a simplified memory keeping system created by Becky Higgins. It reignited my interest in scrapbooking my life and memories. Check out previous posts about my albums and why I do it Here. Have questions? Leave a comment!
