Oh, this was a fun week. Weeks 32: Aug 5-11

Left side: I included a part of a paint chip for the color we painted the entire living room. Of course I included some adorable photos of Alwyn. He pushed five teeth through this week, so he was quite crabby most of the week.
Right side: Besides the living room paint project, I did get a test craft out of the way for my MOPS group (the photo on the top left). The other big event of the week was Disney's Planes movie opening in theaters. This was Ephram's first real movie theater experience so it was kind of a big deal. I also was able to sign him up for the Lowe's Build & Grow workshop to create a Dusty plane the next day. He had a ton of fun at both events.
For the card about teething, I used a blank journaling card, cut it down to be about a half inch smaller length and height-wise, and then attached it to a decorative card from the Jade kit. A pretty simple addition, but it's an easy way to include specific colors in a spread. I knew I wanted more of that color the left side, so it worked perfectly.
Weeks 33: Aug 12-18
This was just a simple week at home.

This was a week we didn't do much away from home and I ended up with mostly iPhone photos. Actually all but one photos is from my iPhone.
Left side: I included two photos showing how the boys play. With Alwyn mobile now, Ephram is slowly figuring out how to play with another person who constantly wants whatever he's playing with. "Boring" weeks like this also allow for me to include little random facts about every day life, like how Ephram refuses to keep his clothing on while we're home, and how much he loves Little Blue Truck.
Right side: We got out for a nice morning walk and then played in the rain with our neighbors over the weekend. The rain was kind of a big deal since we needed it badly. I also included a screenshot of Ephram's written alphabet using the iPad.
When I look back through my albums, it's the insignificant details that are my favorite. I know including this shot of Ephram playing with his tinkertoy "sign" and firetruck will be one of those.
Love, love, love this album.

Project Life is a simplified memory keeping system created by Becky Higgins. It reignited my interest in scrapbooking my life and memories. Check out previous posts about my albums and why I do it here. Have questions? Leave a comment!
