A couple of weeks ago, I joined Ali Edwards and many others in documenting a day in the life. This was probably the 4th or 5th time participating, but only the 2nd or 3rd time I felt I followed through well enough to create something out of the photos I took. I think that was for two main reasons. First, it really was a pretty normal day for us. Nothing special, but also not an incredibly boring day either. Secondly, I kept them all black & white to create a cohesive look.
I set out to take both iPhone & DSLR photos, but ended up almost exclusively using my iPhone. And to connect the photos with words, I used Ali's 6x12 Day in the Life template and stuck them in a 6x12 pocket page within week 19.
To keep with the simple theme this week, I tried to choose one photo and one story from each day. It is such an easy way to document a week and I could totally see myself doing this more frequently in the future, maybe as the boys grow older and I'm not with them 24/7.
Supplies Used: Project Life Design A photo pocket pages, Project Life 6x12 page protectors, Project Life 3x4 grid cards, a few random embellishments, Project Life Journaling Pens, and Becky Higgins Corner Rounder.
