I'm Donya, a Childrens Photographer who specializes in family, child, and baby photography and based just west of Houston, Texas. I absolutely love telling the stories of families and children through the lens of my camera. Other things I love? Lime-green skittles, my incredible son, Ephram and amazing husband, Beau (more about them on my personal blog), a glass of white wine, and the tv show Parenthood.

Life without laughter, smiles, giggles from little ones… well, I’m just not sure I’d want to imagine what that would be like. It’s no secret that a family photo session that includes both a 2 year old and 10 month old will be a bit hectic, but these two girls were such sweethearts. I tell parents that during a photo shoot, we bend the parenting rules a bit. Treats, bribes, they’re okay for photo sessions…
When you’re between the ages of about 2 and 12, is there really anything better than playing with your brother or sister in the leaves? Fall is such a beautiful time in Minnesota. Sadly, all the wind we had last week knocked down so many of those gorgeous, colorful leaves. I’m so glad we captured these photos just in time. Three things about this session: 1. These photos make me want to be 9 years…
This cute family just continues to pop up on the blog! Baby Caleb is almost 3 months old already, but we hadn’t gotten pictures of daddy and Caleb together yet, so a few family pictures were in order. If it weren’t for the pesky Minnesota mosquitoes, I could have continued taking pictures until the sun set. He’s just too cute.
