I'm Donya, a Hastings Family Photographer who specializes in family, child, and baby photography and based just west of Houston, Texas. I absolutely love telling the stories of families and children through the lens of my camera. Other things I love? I’ve been really anxious to share this session. Probably due to the wintry, christmasy tone it has. Something about a bundled up, stylish family in red & gray scarves, and adorable sweaters just gets me even more excited for the holidays. Doesn’t it just make you want to rush over to Caribou and grab a hot cocoa? It was a chilly one outside that day. But what’s better than being sandwiched between Mom & Dad…
Life without laughter, smiles, giggles from little ones… well, I’m just not sure I’d want to imagine what that would be like. It’s no secret that a family photo session that includes both a 2 year old and 10 month old will be a bit hectic, but these two girls were such sweethearts. I tell parents that during a photo shoot, we bend the parenting rules a bit. Treats, bribes, they’re okay for photo sessions…
This little girl is impatient. I’ll just put it that way. After hearing the story of her birth from her parents, that’s exactly what I decided. You know those women who end up having their babies in the car on the way to the hospital? Well, let’s just say, she was attempting to be one of those babies.
