MY PHOTOGRAPHIC STYLE

Imagine your perfect day with the people you love. Are you going for a walk together, soaking in the sun? Maybe you’re laughing and playing at the park? Or perhaps it’s a chess game and popcorn at home? Everyone is happy, relaxed and simply enjoying being together.

These are the types of portrait sessions that I am all about. I'll get to know who you are, at your happiest, and then capture it on camera.

Why do I shoot like this? It certainly takes more time and more care and attention than just lining everyone up and saying cheese. But I believe that these are the images that will resonate in your heart far longer than a posed, lined up shot.

YOUR SESSION

First off, I want to get to know you. Who you are, what you love, who you love. These photos will be all about capturing what’s awesome about you and the loving relationships you have right now.

Together we’ll create a personalized shoot that shows off you and the ones you love.

Don’t know of a great location? I’ll help. I know of some outstanding locations. Don’t know what to do for your session? I’ll be there to figure that out with you.

I’ll help you prepare for the session.

Don’t know what to wear? I love helping people pick out clothes. Don’t know how to pose in photos? I’ll make sure you are comfortable, doing something fun. The best poses come naturally, so just relax and it will happen.

There really is no time limit to our photo session. If you’ve got a shy little one, I am unbelievably patient.

If it rains, we’ll reschedule.

Ultimately, we’ll have some good ol’ fashioned fun. Stressed people do not make for good photos. So I’ll help you any way I can to create happiness.

WHO AM I?

Oh ya, I suppose I should introduce myself!

Well, I’m Donya. I’ve been in love with photography for years. From capturing happy moments with my high school friends, to documenting the smiles of the darling twins I nannied in college, to my own growing family. I’ve been professionally photographing people like you for over 4 years and don’t have any plan to stop soon.

I am head over heels in love with capturing people, the stories behind those people, the love between people. I love it all!

I hope that you and I get to meet someday so I can learn about your story, your life and get to photograph you and the people you love.

THE DETAILS

We’ll start with a session fee which includes a personalized photo shoot for your family (up to 6 people) and the time in takes to process the very best photos from your session (typically around 30 photos).

Session Fee: $100

Once your photos are ready, I'll present you an online gallery to which you can order from. Digital collections begin at $300. For full pricing information, please send me an email!

Please note: Newborns are best captured in the first two weeks of life. If you are planning a newborn session, I prefer we tentatively schedule a week or two in which our shoot will occur so that I have time reserved for your session. Do not worry if your little one decides to come early or late, we'll make it work!
