We’ll start out doing a mixture of posed and candid photographs. I will likely ask you to do something, or stand somewhere, and then let you be you, and wait for something good to happen.

on location

There are two different types of location sessions. For the first type, I will lead you to areas that will bring unique textures, colors, and light to your photos. The woods or a park can be great, as well as downtown urban locations. If you have any suggestions, or have a favorite park in mind, let me know!

For the second type, you may choose an activity or place to go, and I will follow you along, taking pictures to document your fun. Sort of like being your personal paparazzi.

at home

Show me around! Each room can provide different amounts of light, and I will want to find the best one. This may mean moving some furniture or taking down some decorations in order to utilize the best light I can find. Pictures in the home are so great because it shows me who you really are and what your style is. (also ask me about ‘Day in the Life’ sessions!)

afterwards

Approximately 2 to 3 weeks after your session I will email you a password to access your personal online gallery of numbered proofs. The best part about online galleries is that you can direct friends and family to my site, give them the password, and let them choose what they want to order as well.

Portrait Sessions begin at $300 (this includes a $200 print/product credit).
